Our Founder Story
Nick Wiegand, founder and CEO of ProCare Health, understands the challenges of metabolic wellness firsthand from his own lived experience. When he learned that bariatric patients were taking up to nine supplements at multiple times throughout the day and spending over $150 a month, he recognized how difficult that routine could be to sustain. He set out to make daily nutrition simpler, more affordable, and easier to follow.
In 2010, Nick partnered with dietitians and surgeons at the University of Missouri bariatric program to pioneer the first once-daily bariatric multivitamin that meets ASMBS guidelines. An 18-month trial completed in 2012 showed compliance jumped from 37% to 87%, and 92% maintained ideal bloodwork levels.
