Not a fan
There really isn't a taste, but there is a texture and thickness. I just can't take the texture and thickness adding properties. Wait and take a calcium pill!

Upcal D powdered calcium citrate
This product does not dissolve in food - adding it to semi-solid food such as yogurt or to liquid such as herbal tea is unpalatable to me. Very gritty. The only thing I’ve found that it mixes with easily is a protein shake or bottled protein drink where it remains suspended in the drink.

upCalID
this is my new favourite calcium. The chewables frequently have odd flavours, and can be difficult to chew. And because they're almost like caramels, have lots of artificial ingredients and sweeteners. This powder has 3 ingredients, calcium, vitamin D3, and dextrose. It can litetally be poured into anything without changing tbe taste of it- water, your dinner, a glass of tea. If you're traveling and don't have anything handy, you can even just open the package and pour it directly into your mouth....slowly. the only thing you'll taste is a little sweetness. And the little individual packs are easy to bring along and make accurate dosing a breeze!

Easy to Pour!
You can pour these into anything to get your calcium in. Calcium doesn’t fully dissolve so if you have a little bit of grittiness as you’re drinking that’s normal. I do one packet and then wait two-three hours and do a second packet. Your body can only absorb 500mg of calcium at one time so it’s important to space them out. You also want to wait at least 2 hours after taking your bariatric multivitamin so your body fully absorbs. These are so easy when you’re on the go. You can also dump them into the protein drink and/or applesauce. They are unflavored so they can go in anything. Highly recommend!
