Works great, just what my husband needed!
So convenient to use. Makes my busy life less hassled and ensures I get the calcium I need. Great no taste Product that dissolves in any liquid. I love it!
I had bariatric surgery a year and a half ago, and this calcium supplement was the one recommended by the surgeon, the dietician and the patients. I sprinkle it on my yogurt and it doesn’t change the flavor or affect the taste.
So easy to just add to any drink, truly love the individual packets, graet for a busy work life;; just throw in my bag and go. Great product have used for years,
My calcium requirements post bariatric surgery calls for 1500mg per day, and there was no way I could afford to use chewable pills or lozenges every day. Then I came across UpCal calcium packets. Not only were they cheaper, but I liked the idea that the powder can be mixed in with almost anything. The only draw back I hadn’t anticipated was how to measure out 500mg and then make it portable when I’m away from the house. I resolved it by purchasing some really small containers at a local store on the cheap and just drop one in my bag when I leave the house.
Upcal Vitamin D packets have been a game changer for me! I am a bariatric patient and I must take large amounts of Calcium to remain healthy but the horse pills that I had were gagging me and as a result, only got taken about half the time. I next tried calcium citrate powder which worked better for me, but still it wasn’t really good for me when I am frequently on the go. Then a friend recommended the UpCal D Go Packets. I tried them and they really solved a huge problem for me! I can slip a couple into my backpack for when I’m on the go. I sometimes mix the packets with liquids – they really don’t change the taste much – but if I don’t have liquids, I’ll just pour it into my mouth from the packet and that works great too. The powder tastes slightly sweet but doesn’t really have a taste to speak of. Anyway, I will continue to order these UpCal D Go Packets because they really fit my needs and are very convenient even with my busy lifestyle.
Taken for medicinal purposes, this has worked very well for the past 3 years!!
These are an easy way to get your calcium if the pills are just too hard to swallow. The best part? It’s calcium CITRATE! You can mix it easily enough in a small amount of a drink – it does not dissolve, but as long as you stir it before drinking (so it doesn’t settle on the bottom), it’s pretty tasteless and it’s not too noticeable. You can also just down the whole packet straight into your mouth and wash it down quickly with a drink. That takes some getting used to. The powder has a mild sweet taste, but not much else of a taste.
I am pretty pleased with it!
